Breaking into the cyber world

My story is definitely going to play out as an agency in which the reader can choose the path they want to take. Even if the every path ends up at the same result the way in which the reader reaches the final end point makes all the difference. There is not strategy as in there is no one choice that is better than another, but each choice will come with different consequences. By formating my story this way I will be able to engage the reader in the experience of reading and have the reader play an active role in the reading process. At the end of the story the reader will be able to start again creating a sense of replay within the story. The pictures will be added as visual representation of the written text. If I am describing using my toeside edge of my snowboard then I will show a person actually using their toeside edge and which will connect the reader even deeper into the experience. The pictures could also be used as the path guiders in that people could choose a picture to transition them into the next sequence of story. At each transition I will put two pictures that the reader can choose from and by choosing one of the pictures a new segment of the story will appear. This will effectively utilize not only the hyper link portion of our assignment but also the image portion as well. By incorporating all three aspects I will be fulfilling the requirements of the course as well as creating a multifaceted reading experience.

You have great use of the vocabulary and I think your story is going to be really engaging and good. You have a really good understanding of this assignment and it sounds like you have some really interesting ideas! :0) good job

...Much better than what I've got so far, I've go to say. Looks like you have the context of the page pretty well figured out. If the content matter is what I think it will be (snowboarding)then maybe I won't suck so bad next time I go to Wisp if I get to read it. IZ

I am going to add pictures as transition points. Thus these pictures will be incorporated into the play time strategically places to break the story up. Since load time would naturally break the story up regardless this will work at connecting real time and play time so that the reader does not become bored with the passage. I also think I will be able to use the subject's observations and experiences down the mountain to make the necessary segments. The time will not be completely linear in that although the end purpose is to make it down the mountain many of the different segments will break off laterally with no progression towards the bottom of the mountain.
